mango cardamom lassi

i love indian food, but since going out to eat can get expensive i’ve decided to concoct my own recipe for a favorite of mine, mango lassis. surprisingly enough, i’d say my version tastes pretty darn close to the real thing with the key ingredient being cardamom. among the many health benefits cardamom has detoxifying properties and can help aid in digestion. cinnamon also acts as an anti-inflammatory and boosts memory.

ingredients:
• frozen mango 1 half, slice into cubes
• unsweetened plain greek yogurt 3 T give or take {i like to use 0% fage}
• vanilla protein powder 1/2 to 1 scoop, i like raw, gmo-free, vegan sunwarrior {optional}
• coconut milk 1/3 cup give or take, any kind of milk will do {almond, rice, soy, hemp}
• real maple syrup or honey, a few squirts
• cinnamon spice 1 T give or take, i use A LOT
• cardamom spice 1 T give or take, i use A LOT

to do:
blend all together and serve, enjoy!
