indoor s’mores

i can’t believe that this is my first s’more of the summer season that just came to a close! shame on me. i have fond memories of camping as a girl scout {i was a brownie too}. we would sit around the campfire, eat from mess kits, sing campfire songs and roast marshmallows. now since we don’t live in the country and aren’t equipped with a fire pit, i must make our s’mores in pure wuss fashion, using my toaster oven. but that’s quite fine because they taste just as good! well almost.

ingredients: {1 serving}
• 1 honey graham cracker broken in half
• a couple chocolate squares of your choice
• 2 jumbo marshmallows

to do:
assemble your s’more like a sandwich leaving the top graham cracker off. place in toaster oven and toast until marshmallow is slightly blackened and chocolate is softened. be careful not to burn the graham cracker too much like i did! enjoy!
