bloody marys

September 26, 2011 § 30 Comments

knowing how to mix a good cocktail is important. i love the occasional glass of red wine or a cold sierra nevada. one of my all time favorite drinks is the spicy bloody mary which i still have yet to perfect, but so far this one tastes pretty darn good if i do say so myself. and as for the pickles, green olives, celery stalks and garbanzo beans, more is definitely more!

ingredients: {1 serving}
• 2 oz vodka
• 6 oz bloody mary mix
• 1/2 tsp fresh lime juice
• a few dashes of hot sauce
• cracked black pepper
• an assortment of garnishes {celery, pickled green beans, baby corn, olives
and asparagus}

to do:
place several ice cubes into a highball glass. add all of the ingredients into a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes. shake well, strain and pour over the ice cubes into the highball glass. garnish with salad fixings. enjoy and drink responsibly!
