sometimes there’s simply nothing better than a fantastic tasting cheese plate. many times i like to have this as a meal and you’d be surprised how filling it really is. a good bottle of wine, some salty olives, different kinds of nuts and dried fruit, along with a red pepper jelly, honey or sweet fig jam all bring this spread together quite nicely. and i would definitely suggest including a sweetness of some sort, in order to cut through the sharpness of the cheese. what ingredients do you like to use when creating a lovely smorgasbord?
