feather puff shoe clip: do it yourself

January 16, 2012 § 24 Comments

i never did pick up a pair of the fabulous fabiana or simona sandals by alexander wang, too bad! these nude wedges by guess have been in my care for a loooong time, and i couldn’t seem to part with them. my funky shoe clips add a nice pop of color and can be interchanged with other shoes. i think i’ll probably stick them onto a pair of black strappy sandals for another day. but until then, theses wedges get their time in the neon lime light!

you will need:
1. super glue or mod podge
2. 2 small barrette clips {got these at michael’s}
3. small piece of cardboard
4. sissors
5. 2 feather puffs {got these at jo-ann fabrics}
6. a pair of wedges or strappy sandals

to do:
1. pick out the pair of shoes that you want to use.
2. gather your supplies.
3. cut two small pieces of cardboard to fit the size of each clip.
4. glue the cardboard pieces onto each feather puff and let dry.
5. glue the barrettes onto each of the cardboard pieces and let dry.
** clip onto your shoe of choice and paint the town neon!!
