this movie is like a walk down memory lane for me because i’m a 90’s kid. and i love amy heckerling’s style in the way that she writes and directs. other great films by heckerling include fast times at ridgemont high, european vacation and look who’s talking, all of which i also love!

I so wanted her closet and clothes when I saw this movie – as I’m sure everyone did. It’s funny to look back at some of the horrible and STILL really good fashion! Plus I’ll never forget about learning what a Monet was

This and Troop Beverly Hills shaped my femininity in indescribable ways…I love it :) Awesome reminder of the gorgeous ‘fits of the mid-90s!

  • Hi Kristina. I absolutely love your blog. It’s so fun and so colorful. This was one of my favorite movies as well and I must have seen it 10 times or more. I recently showed it to my 12 year old and she loved it as well. My other favorite movies of the 80’s and 90’s are, Fast Times (classic), Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, The Breakfast Club and St. Elmo’s Fire. I know there are more, but those are off the top of my head.
