roasted brussels sprouts w. maple syrup

i’m obsessed with these yummy brussels sprouts as i make them quite often. they will be accompanying me to thanksgiving dinner this year and the not-so-secret sauce anymore is the maple syrup. like how they say with bacon, everything’s better with maple syrup!
• 1 pound brussels sprouts
• extra-virgin olive oil
• good quality maple syrup
• sea salt
• fresh cracked pepper
pre-heat oven to 400 degrees f. cut off any brown ends of the brussels sprouts and remove any wilted outer layers. slice into halves, toss together in the olive oil to coat, sprinkle salt and pepper and roast for 15 minutes or so. remove from oven and toss in a bit of the maple syrup. roast for another 15 to 20 minutes. remove from oven and add a touch more maple syrup if desired. serve immediately + happy thanksgiving!!
