caffeinated shake

most mornings all i need is a few cups of strong black coffee. and other times i prefer to enjoy something cool and refreshing but equally energizing like my caffeinated shake here. it’s kind of like breakfast and coffee rolled into one, give it a shot, or two if you’d like!

• 1/4 to 1/2 cup or so of cooled strong black coffee
• a few ice cubes
• 3 tablespoons or so of greek yogurt
• 1/4 to 1/2 cup or so of some variation of milk {i use unsweetened coconut or almond}
• 1 teaspoon or so of vanilla protein powder
• a bit of good quality maple syrup, honey or agave nectar
• a few pinches or so of cinnamon
• 1/2 teaspoon or so of coffee grinds
• 1/2 teaspoon or so of maca powder {optional}

to do:
empty all contents, including a few coffee grinds into a blender or vitamix and blend for several seconds until desired consistency is met. {i tend to like mine on the thicker side.} garnish with an extra sprinkling of coffee grinds + enjoy!
