beauty secrets

so apparently japanese women put this on their faces for promises of beautiful porcelain skin as well as for geisha facials. this pretty little bottle belonged to my grandmother. you would never guess what it is based on the delicate scent and appearance of the light powder inside. mixed with a bit of water to form a loose paste, i’ve been testing it out for the last couple of days.
